You are such a wealth of information, and I just listened to the episode in Irpinia, which was wonderful. Quick question - you mentioned your dog in your episode! How complicated is bringing your dog, nowadays? We have an Aussie about 45 lbs and I would love to bring him with us, but not sure if it's feasible. Thanks again, excited to be part of your group, and will be sure to refer friends and family.
Welcome Carmen! Thanks so much for joining us. I do travel with my dog Lenù, however, she’s small and stays in a carrier with me during the flight. I believe 20 lbs is the limit for a dog in-cabin. I trained her for travel from the moment I picked her up from the shelter. She’s paper trained for airport bathrooms and is comfortable in her travel bag. If I do a short trip I don’t take her. She definitely gets jet lag and needs adjustment time! But when I go for multi-month stays, she comes.
Her name is Lenù! Love it. Okay, thank you for your quick response! Looks like our baby will have to remain state-bound, but that's great how you've trained your pup. There's a new dog airline, but the tickets are way out of my budget. Thanks, again!
