Ask Me Anything About Italy - February 18th
We meet on Zoom at 8 pm ET, but you can also email me questions ahead of time
Thank you so much for being here! I can’t wait to see our subscribers again on February 18th at 8 p.m. ET for our monthly Zoom meeting, during which I will answer all your Italy trip planning questions.
Even if you’re not planning a trip, you should still join us and ask questions about Italian art, food, or history. I created this newsletter and podcast not only to discuss trip planning but because I care deeply about sharing the sense of awe and wonder I find so abundantly in Italy. We need it more than ever.
As such, I want to start sharing more art with you, even in these short emails that contain practical information. Here’s a photo from the Treasury of San Gennaro of Santa Irene, stopping a lightning bolt from hitting Naples. It makes me think of Cupid’s arrows and the Valentine’s Day decorations that are currently everywhere. This is a detail from the larger work (shown below) of the Saint, who stops lightning with one hand while cradling the entire city of Naples with the other.

Paid subscribers, please see the link below for the Zoom meeting on February 18th. Remember, if you can’t join us live, you can send your question to danielle@feasttravel.com. I’ll answer it during the meeting and send the video replay the following day.
